  1. Hello! I keep hearing good things about A Court of etc. etc. by Sarah J. Maas. I was a bit “meh” on some aspects of Throne of Glass, although I do have the sequel and plan to start it, so I’m reluctant to pick up a new one by her but…Maybe I’ll try it!

    • Hi! A Court of Thorns and Roses can be slow to start, but the sequel to it is SO worth it!
Have you read “The Assassin’s Blade”? It’s the book of novellas that takes place a couple years before Throne of Glass (focusing on Celaena and how she got to where she is in ToG). I always recommend reading that before ToG! Also, SJM’s writing always gets better as it goes (really, anybody’s does)!

      • I’m sure it does! I’ll return to the series eventually, I’m sure. I don’t *mind* slow starts either, per se. I’m curious now. Everyone recommends it so highly…

  2. It was a tie between fantasy and contemporary for me this year too 🙂 I still need to finish Laura Andersen’s new series, and the Winner’s series! Def on my list this year. And Winter and ACOMAF were both so great! Glad you had a good reading year 🙂

    • I think those two genres are what I lean towards to for the most part. And yes you do need to finish both of those series!! So good 🙂 I’m going to try to finish the Maid Of Honor series (Jennifer McGowan) this year!
Glad you had a good reading year too 🙂
